Caroline is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Association of Microfinance Institutions in Kenya (AMFI-K). She is a graduate of the United States International University Africa (USIU-A) with a major in International Business Administration - finance option.She has over 15 years of work experience both in the banking and microfinance sectors. Caroline is a result focused manager with a desire to exponentially grow and have a lasting positive impact on the association and the microfinance sector.
CPA Shadrack Mithika heads Finance Function at AMFI and in charge of industry`s data collection, analysis and publication. He has over 15 years hands on experience in finance with a wide knowledge of the financial sector. He is a graduate of Business Administration from Kenya Methodist University (BBA Accounts and Finance with First class Honors, Master of science in Finance (Finance and investments) from the University of Nairobi and Currently Pursuing PHD in Business Administration (Finance option) at the University of Nairobi. Shadrack is a professional accountant(CPA-K) and a member of the institute of certified public accountant of Kenya (ICPAK) and pursuing CSIA (Certified Securities and Investment analyst of Kenya Part 2)
Having served for a period of seven years as Human Resource and Administration officer. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Human Resource Management and a higher Diploma in Business Management. She is currently pursuing Postgraduate studies in Master of Arts- Project Planning and Management at The University of Nairobi.
Pauline is the administration officer at AMFI-K. She has a diploma in Business Administration. She is detail-oriented, comfortable at multi-tasking, with more than 11 years’ experience in administrative role.
Paul is the Administrative assistant for the association. He has held the position since 2011 when he joined the Institution.
The Association of Microfinance Institutions-Kenya has organized a three-day National Microfinance and Trade-fair Conference themed ‘’Promoting Sustainable Development Through Microfinance’’. As a key advocate of financial inclusion, our objective is to showcase and demonstrate the impact and role we play in promoting the National Big Four Agenda as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The conference will be held on March 27th- 29th 2019 at the Hilton Nairobi while the Trade and Investor-Fair will run concurrently at the Kenyatta International Conventional Centre (KICC).
