CEO’s New Year Message: Strengthening Partnerships for a More Inclusive Financial Sector

“As we begin a new year, I would like to sincerely thank our members, partners, and stakeholders for the continued support, collaboration, and commitment demonstrated throughout last year. Your partnership played a critical role in the engagements, milestone activities, and collective efforts that strengthened the microfinance sector and advanced our shared goal of financial inclusion.

The progress we achieved in 2025 would not have been possible without the strong partnerships that continue to define our Association. From policy engagement and sector dialogues to capacity-building initiatives and collaborative platforms, your participation and support enabled AMFI-K to effectively champion the microfinance sector’s interests and advance our shared goal of inclusive finance. Each engagement, milestone activity, and partnership reaffirmed the importance of working together to strengthen institutions and expand access to financial services for underserved communities.

As we usher in the new year, I warmly welcome you to 2026 and wish you a blessed, productive, and fulfilling year ahead. This year presents renewed opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and growth, and we look forward to working closely with our members and partners to further enhance the sector.

Financial inclusion remains at the core of AMFI-K’s mandate. In 2026, the Association will continue to prioritize initiatives that support innovation, responsible finance, and sustainable solutions that support institutions in meeting the evolving needs of their clients. As the sector navigates a dynamic operating environment, innovation will be critical in unlocking new opportunities, enhancing service delivery, and building resilience across institutions.

A key focus for AMFI-K this year will be the strengthening of partnerships that deliver lasting impact. We are intentional about fostering collaborations that go beyond dialogue to create tangible outcomes for our members. In particular, the Association will actively engage with strategic partners, development actors, and financial institutions to explore solutions that address liquidity challenges facing microfinance institutions, a critical concern for the sustainability and growth of the sector.

Through policy advocacy, targeted partnerships, and data-driven insights, AMFI-K remains committed to creating an enabling environment where microfinance institutions can thrive and continue serving communities across the country. We will also deepen member engagement, ensuring that your voices, experiences, and priorities continue to shape our interventions and sector advocacy efforts.

As we begin this new chapter, I invite all our members and partners to walk with us in building a more inclusive, resilient, and innovative financial sector. Together, through strong partnerships and shared purpose, we can deliver sustainable solutions that drive impact and transform lives.

I look forward to another year of meaningful collaboration as we work together to strengthen the microfinance sector and drive inclusive growth.”
